Family Game Night Just Got A Little More Exciting
Tuesday, January 17, 2012
Jude is just at that age where he is interested in video games and actually possesses the hand-eye coordination needed. In our house video games are a special treat and a family event. EA Games and Hasbro have teamed up to give your family the ultimate game night with, Hasbro Family Game Night 4.
Hasbro Family Game Night 4: The Game Show bring a whole new excitement to some of Hasbro's most loved board games. It includes games like Connect Four Basketball, Yahtzee Bowling, Scrabble Flash, Sorry! Sliders and Bop-It Boptagon and Monopoly Crazy Cash.
The thing I like about this video game is that it offers a diverse selection of games. There really is something for everyone. Games like Connect Four Basketball and Sorry! Sliders are a little bit easier for younger kids. However, games like Yahtzee Bowling and Scrabble Flash require a little more skill that older kids will love.
I was concerned that Jude, being almost 4 year old, wouldn't be able to catch on to the principles of even the simple games but after a little practice and observation he got the hand of Connect Four Basketball and Sorry! Sliders. Family Game Night 4 is actually a pretty great tool to help teach kids hand-eye coordination, strategy, quick thinking, decision making, math skill not to mention playing with your family builds relationships.
I really can't wait for our kids to get a little bit older so we can incorporate more family game nights.
I
received the feature products free from EA Games. However, the opinions
expressed in this post are my own and not influenced by the company.

While I love my Wii, I sincerely hope that Wii board games don't replace board games. They are different and both should be in homes :)
